Yin Yoga - Find Your Flow
Slow down, sink in, and stretch deeper. A one-hour practice for every body, no experience needed.
Wednesdays 7:00 pm
May 20th, May 27th, June 3rd - Howey In The Hills, FL
Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, yin asks you to settle, breathe, and surrender. Each pose is held for several minutes, giving your body the time it needs to truly open and release. The result? Greater flexibility, improved mobility, and a sense of ease you'll carry with you long after you leave the mat.
What is Yin Yoga?
01 — Connective Tissue Work
Yin targets the fascia, ligaments, and joints. By holding the postures, you reach deeper layers of the body.
02 — Nervous System Regulation
The stillness of yin activates the parasympathetic nervous system, your rest-and-restore mode.
03 — Flexibility & Mobility
Patient, sustained holds create lasting changes in range of motion. Leave feeling longer, looser, and lighter.
04 — Inward Practice
Yin is as much a meditation as it is a physical practice. Holding a posture requires presence.
Meet Rita
Rita is a certified Integrated Hatha Yoga teacher (200-hour RYT) and Meditation Facilitator (100-hour MTT) with over a decade of personal practice in yoga and mindfulness. Their journey into teaching is rooted in lived experience, having used yoga and meditation as essential tools in their own recovery from addiction. Rita brings authenticity, empathy, and purpose to every class she leads.
Her teaching blends the foundational principles of traditional Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga with the stillness and insight of guided meditation. With a focus on alignment, breath awareness, and nervous system regulation. Rita creates welcoming spaces where students can reconnect with their bodies, calm the mind, and explore personal healing at their own pace.
Drawing on both formal training and personal transformation; Rita offers a grounded, accessible approach to practice, meeting students where they are and helping them build resilience, presence, and inner peace both on and off the mat.
