Yin Yoga - May 27th

  • Inekawa Foundation 10215 Gopher Road Howey-in-the-Hills, FL, 34737 United States (map)

Slow down, sink in, and stretch deeper. This one-hour yin yoga class invites students of all levels to explore the power of stillness through long-held, passive postures designed to gently work into the connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, and joints) that traditional movement practices often overlook.

Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga, yin asks you to settle, breathe, and let gravity do the work. Each pose is held for several minutes, giving your body the time it needs to truly open and release. The result? Greater flexibility, improved mobility, and a sense of ease you'll carry with you long after you leave the mat.

Whether you're brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner looking to complement your practice, this class meets you exactly where you are. No prior experience required, just a willingness to be still and go within.

Our yoga classes are held indoors at Inekawa’s Sanctuary in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, just minutes from Clermont. Sessions run around 60 minutes.

Classes are offered at no cost, with donations welcome to support our yoga programs.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move and rest in. Bring a water bottle. We’ve got the yoga mats and props.

First-time attendees complete a one-time waiver before their first class. It covers all Inekawa community events including yoga, breathwork, and sound healing, so you only need to do it once. Complete your waiver here.
